Jesus said in John 15:13 “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” Today, we in America celebrate this. There are countless men and women that have gave it all for all of us. We remember them and their ultimate sacrifice; we give them and their families honor and thank them for their sacrifices. Christ sacrificed on the cross so we may have these times of freedom; but Christ also died to free us from the thing that brings us all to deaths door, and that is sin. Pray this day for the ones that gave it all, for their family and friends; but also pray to the lord Jesus Christ that saved all of us from eternal damnation. We can be rest assured that if we are in Christ, we are free from sin and headed for an eternity with our loving and merciful God with all the others that gave it all. God Loves Ya 😉
