He allowed people to put a crown of thorns on His head, mock Him, strike Him, strip Him and make Him carry His own cross to Golgotha where they nailed Him to that cross; all of this plus much more pain and He hardly said any words. Some of the words He did say that should stick out the most are, “Father forgive them for they do not know what they do”. He was God in the flesh and could have stopped them at any time, but He did not…why? Because He loves you that much. Think about that. His Love for you was so strong; you never met Him in the flesh and He died for you, so you could live with Him one day forever. Think about that. Think about His love and what He did and continues to do for you. Now go and do your best to imitate that love. God loves you 😉
