“So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.” (Galatians 5:1) This verse reminds me of when prisoners get set free from prison way before they their allotted time. I am sure some of the last words they hear as they are leaving the prison is, “keep your nose clean and stay out of trouble.” When we accept Christ, we must forget and drop our old ways of behaving and thinking and start following the way of Christ. Jesus set us free from the bondage of sin even though sometimes we will fail; we can’t go back to our old ways of thinking and behaving (Romans 12:2) We must strive to be like Christ every day; the more we try, the closer we get. God set us free because Jesus paid the price for us. Let us show Jesus how much we appreciate Him and this opportunity. Don’t let Jesus down. God Loves Ya 😉
