Titus 1:2, Romans 8:1-3, Isaiah 53:4-6

Prideful. Arrogant. Lustful. Impure. Greedy. Envious. Depressed. Angry. Foolish. Distrustful. Direspectful. Slothful. Lazy. Lying. Faithless. Godless. This is who I am. This is how I see myself. Satan, the accuser, tells me and tells God that I am all of these things. And he’s right. I am a sinner who deserves God’s justice upon himself. I deserve nothing less that the full wrath of God and the punishment of hell. But, praise be to God that He does not see me this way. He sees me differently. Praise God that through the incredible sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I am no longer defined by my sins. I will always be a wretched human being, full of sin and shame. But thank God that He sees me differently. He sees me as pure, holy, godly, and perfect. Not because of my own works, but because of the blood of Jesus Christ which was freely shed on my behalf. To God, I am not sinful. I am redeemed and precious in His sight. May the intense power and truth of this incredible message never be dulled for all of us! Christ has paid for all of our sin. ALL of it! NOTHING can separate us from the Love of God! Hallelujah! What a Savior! – Daniel Havrilla
