Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it”. “Today” offers everyone 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, 86,000 seconds. Each “today” is a gift from God and potential moments where we can impact the world around us. Yesterday and tomorrow are the enemies of Kingdom Impact. Someone who says, “I have already done that”, or others who might say, “I plan to do that” both are missing the present opportunity to impact the world around them. “Today” is a strange commodity. You and I can’t save it, retrieve it, relive it, stretch it, borrow it, loan it, stop it or store it. Friends the only two things we are able to do with today is use it or lose it. Paul explains in Ephesians 5:15-16, “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity”. If we desire to impact the people around us in Jesus’ name and for God’s honor, we need to be intentional and deliberate today in making the choice to act. Most of us have heard the Latin phrase, Carpe Diem meaning “seize the day”. We might also need to remember another Latin phrase, Tempus Fugit, which means “time flies”. The reason why we need to impact someone today is because our time is limited and we desire that all might know the love of Jesus Christ TODAY! Stay Close to Jesus! – pastor Bryce
