1 Corinthians 10:13, Isaiah 41:10
“There is a light at the end of the tunnel”. How many times have you heard or thought that? This could mean one or two things. First, is that light a bright and happy ending to something you are going through; or a train coming the other way that will only deepen your despair and sorrow? I suppose it depends on how you look at it. Scripture tells us that there will always be hard times, trials and tribulations through John 16:33: “In this world you will have trouble.” But here it comes…wait for it, wait for it…“But take heart! I have overcome the world.” You see beloved, it doesn’t matter if that light is a train coming straight at you. Christ has overcome and there is nothing in the physical world that can destroy what God has planned for you. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37). He is there for you no matter what and we are not to worry, despair or to be afraid. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27) The only light we see at the end of our tunnel is that of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God Loves Ya;)
