Job 11:13-15

Ugh! It’s going to be one of those days. How many times have we all said this? Too many to mention Iā€™m sure. You are running late for work and you can’t find your keys, you need cash pull up to the ATM only to realize your card is on the kitchen table. The list goes on and on. It’s like, one more thing and I’m going to lose it. Sometimes we do. I’ve been known to just throw complete fits; scream, yell, even throw things. I get so overwhelmed and feel like I just can’t do it anymore. That’s when we need to call out to Jesus, He will calm our raging seas and put peace back in our lives. The hardest part is surrendering. I struggled with the, ā€œI can do this all by myself” mentality but, guess what? We can’t! We need Jesus! We need to surrender our will, to accept Him and His help. Otherwise, we are a complete mess of chaos, anger, resentment and exhaustion. It would be nice to have a cape and super powers to be able to do it all, but we don’t. We have a God that loves us so much and wants us to cry out to Him. He wants to be our strong hold, our strength and our rock. Thank you Father for taking our craziness, stubbornness and pride and replacing it with peace, patience and tranquility. Have a blessed day! šŸ™‚ Lori
