As many of you know, I typically use my life experiences to create my weekly devotions. Every day, God lets His presence be known, whether it’s a lesson to learn or an “ah ha” moment. All we must do is expect them, watch for them and be aware of Him. God can be very subtle, but He can also be very abrupt in getting our attention. Not long ago, I was in the checkout line at the grocery store and overheard a conversation between a customer and the cashier. While trying to give them their privacy, I found myself thinking, this poor customer needs prayer. She was going through a troubling time and I felt the Godly tug to ask her if I could pray for her.  I’m not usually that bold, but when God gives that nudge you cannot ignore it. After we got outside, I approached her and offered to pray with her. She was very surprised but welcoming at my gesture. Standing outside of that grocery store with the wind blowing what seemed like 100 miles an hour, we prayed together. To this day, I’m not sure who received the blessing that day, her or me. Friends, my lesson learned that day was to always seek and watch for God’s presence no matter where you are or what you are doing. God will use you and you will be forever changed because of it. Have a Blessed day!
