Matthew 25:23
One of my favorite Christian speakers is Joyce Meyers. I saw her in person a couple times in the last few years. I think I like her so much because she is so real and authentic. She doesn’t sugar coat what God expects from us. I was listening to her not long ago and her message was “Are you right with God?” It really convicted me because in my mind, I am a good person, but if God was standing next to me would He shake His head in disapproval at my words, my actions and how I deal with others or would He be pleased? I want to be a good Christian – a child that will please Him and I would hope He would proudly say, “Well done”. I know God loves us unconditionally and we are saved by His blood, but when I think He may not approve of the way I act, that is unsettling to say the least. If you are feeling the way I am, get right with God; continue to repent, confess and keep striving to imitate Christ. Have a blessed day! 🙂
