2 Corinthians 5:14-15 says, “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.” Friends, what “compels” you? What might cause you to live and act a new and different way? Each Wednesday in 2020, we are taking a look at the type of IMPACT we are having on the world around us. This week, consider the INVESTMENTS you are making in people you interact with everyday. In order to have the fullest impact, we need to give small pieces of ourselves away for a greater return in the future. When we think about what Jesus has done in each of our lives, we should not only have a great appreciation, but also want to give away to others what we have learned, how we have grown and what we have experienced. What you believe and who you are should greatly influence what you do. God created us to be more than an occupier of a seat and a contributor of $20 bills on Sunday mornings. Paul, in the same chapter we referenced at the outset, shares these words, “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.” Give to others what you received. If Jesus has changed your life, tell someone this week how He did it. Stay close to Jesus. -Pastor Bryce
