John 6:1-14
Did you ever have a “wow” factor moment? That moment in your life when you say, “That wasn’t possible”? You see something accomplished when at first it looked impossible, but there it is – right in front of you in all its glory. Today’s scripture is a great story of God’s miraculous powers and many can learn numerous life lessons from the scripture; however I want to focus on the way Jesus looks at things. Jesus always saw possibilities that outweighed the problems. Feeding 5000 could have looked like a daunting task at best, but Jesus didn’t focus on the amount of food that was available, he looked at the amount of souls that could hear His words and knew God would supply a way. It is easy for us to focus on the problems of this world and look at them and be discouraged; but with resolve, faith and belief in an all-powerful God, we can be assured that God’s will will be done. There is always going to be a gap between what we are able to do and what needs to be done.  But the gap isn’t our problem; it’s our opportunity to experience the “wow factor” or “the Jesus factor”. We just have to start the process and do our best and God will wow you. God loves Ya;)
