Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut. (Proverbs 10:19 NLT) I’m pretty sure this proverb isn’t just referring to how men should behave with their wives, but everyone in general. Too many times in my life, I found myself talking too much in a situation that I really had no business in or believing I was totally right in an argument and just kept on yapping. This led to fights, arguments, loss of friendships, relationships and so on.  I have learned through the years my yapping did not accomplish anything worthy to the calling of Christ. Don’t get me wrong, there are times we need to yap for injustice and persecutions, but we need to know when to shut it and just listen to the other person. We might be surprised what we can learn and how the situation can be resolved just by listening instead of yapping. So less talk my friends and more listening and loving of the other person. Our tongues are dangerous and can lead to many bad things and sin. “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.” (1 Peter 3:10) God Loves Ya 😉
