You Have a Mission

Acts 11:19-26
As a church of Christ, we are to attend Church (base camp) to be renewed, re-energized, encouraged and inspired to return to the mission field. This is the work of Christ that we need to do. We can say we need to help the homeless, hungry and the down trodden; but we need to get out there and help. We spend extra money on getting that car with the fancy seats. We sit in front of the TV set between two and four hours a day. Or we drive right by the person with the flat tire. We waste time and resources. When was the last time you asked an elderly person if they need anything from the store, called a friend you haven’t heard from in a long time or just gave a passerby a smile and a nod? We are the hands and feet of Christ beloved. We are ambassadors of the King. We are to imitate and love like Christ and transform this world in Christ. Let us act like the first church that was formed over 2000 years ago. Don’t just make a difference, be the difference. What you do or don’t do matters. God loves Ya;)

be the difference
