2 Corinthians 5:14-21
I can remember as a kid that I wanted to have a purpose – to be somebody that can make a difference in this world. For many years I believed that I would never fulfill this idea. Then I found Christ and started learning and applying God’s word; I started seeing amazing results on my effectiveness and purpose in this life. We are called to be the hands and feet of Christ – to transform this world for the glory of God. There may not be any fanfare, any accolades, parades or presidential honors; however, there is a reward! When we go through the transformation from the old life to the new life, you start living your life with a kingdom purpose. Every time one of God’s lost children are found, the angels in heaven are singing and giving praise to our God. To quote and affirm a statement from a brother in Christ, “I am one of the most blessed people on the planet – because the most important thing happening on earth is the establishment and building of God’s kingdom and I get to be a part of it… YOU get to be a part of it! Do we realize that God has selected US to do something new… to be transformed… to be part of a new thing? We get to be part of something that will change the world and affect generations to come!” That sounds like a purpose to me! God love ya;)
