Psalm 30:5 says, “For his (God’s) anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning”. Friends, what I am most intrigued by in this verse is the assurance that our long, dark nights have a definitive duration in
contrast with how God’s favor and joy are everlasting. We serve a God of transitions. Though we may presently be experiencing mourning, the truth of God’s word is that the dawn of morning is coming and we can trust that the long, dark night will soon end. Your dawn is here! God’s favor has arrived. What we must remember, regardless if we are in the middle of the night or we are standing in the midst of the bright morning light, God is using both our weeping and joys mingled together to bring about His great purpose, plan and will in our lives. Do not go any further into this day without knowing that God sees you and He will soon turn your situation
from whaling to dancing. God will do it and He plans to do it through Jesus’ Christ and by the Holy Spirit’s presence in your life. Stay close to Jesus -Pastor Bryce
